The village of Pomas
Small village in Audois of about 1000 inhabitants located on the banks of the Aude river, between Limoux (9 km) and Carcassonne (12 km).
The village lies on a hillside under the watchful supervision of its castle, the remains of ancient medieval ramparts and its Gothic Occitan style church.
The village is endowed with:
- a post point,
- a café/restaurant : the "A Bistrot de Nas",
- a pizzeria open the evening, from Wednesday to Sunday
- a local food store
You will also find:
- two producers wine merchants offering limouxin wines,
- a beekeeper.
